High School: Played for coach Mickey McCarty at Neville (La.)…Helped the Tigers capture the 2014 Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) Class 4A state championship inside the world famous Mercedes-Benz Superdome…Part of a senior class that did not lose a game inside its home venue and was undefeated over a four-year period in LHSAA District 2, Class 4A matchups…Started at offensive tackle for Neville…Regarded as one of the top 100 prospects in the Bayou State by most recruiting agencies…Heard from schools such as Missouri, Louisiana State and Southern Mississippi while with the Tigers…Part of losses just three times during his phenomenal prep career…Won 52 games during that same time frame as well…Claimed another state title as a freshman at Neville.
