High School: Played for coach Jamie Mitchell at Starkville…Worked his way onto the varsity squad as a junior…Appeared in ten games that year and recorded 39 total tackles…Had a season-high eight stops in a victory over division foe Clinton…Added single tackles for loss against Murrah, Northwest Rankin and Warren Central…Recorded the only sack of his career in a victory over Northwest Rankin…Increased his productivity in 2014 and helped the Yellowjackets claim the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Division 2, Class 6A championship…Finished third on the team with 56 tackles in 12 games…Lifted Starkville to the MHSAA Class 6A semifinal round with three takedowns in a quarterfinal victory over Southaven…Had a career-high 10 stops in a huge triumph over perennial power Madison Central…Added a personal best two tackles for loss against rival West Point…Hauled in his only interception for the Yellowjackets in a victory versus Oxford…Represented the North Half of the Magnolia State in the annual Bernard Blackwell All-Star Game in Gulfport after his final campaign with Starkville.
