Football Tryout Registration -- Volleyball Tryout Registration

BOONEVILLE, Miss. - Northeast Mississippi Community College's fall sports are giving local talent one last chance to impress before finalizing their rosters for the 2025 season.

Northeast's football program will hold an open tryout on Tuesday, February 25 while volleyball will do the same on Friday, March 7.

Registration for football's tryout begins at noon at the field house. The session will take place at Tiger Stadium due to continuing construction at the adjacent practice field.

Players should anticipate a combine-style format. All participants will go through a series of drills at their respective positions that are conducted by members of the Tigers' coaching staff.

Northeast has a well-known reputation of developing elite athletes on the gridiron. That includes two active players in the National Football League (NFL), including Jacksonville's Deantre Prince and Sam Williams at Dallas.

Check-in for volleyball's tryout starts at 3:30 p.m. inside historic Bonner Arnold Coliseum. This will be the Lady Tigers' third season of competition in the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC).

These tryouts are only for prospective student-athletes that are either graduating high school seniors or college freshmen that have not signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) with another institution of higher learning.

There is no cost to enroll in either tryout. All entrants must bring an up-to-date copy of a physical and sign a release of liability form, which is available to download HERE.
