Jay Daubenberger began his first year with the Tigers in August of 2025 after spending the last six years working both at the NJCAA and NCAA levels.

He started his career in college athletics as an undergrad where he worked at Florida SouthWestern College, helping with graphics, statistics, and website content for the Bucs five teams.  He worked with a number of Conference Championship teams with the Bucs and was even along for the ride in FSW's Volleyball run to the NJCAA National Championship. He had the opportunity to work alongside a number of high profile student-athletes, coaches, and sports information directors including current Sacramento King Keon Ellis, newly named NJCAA Hall of Famer Thais Baziquetto-Allen, and 2024 NJCAA Sports Information Director of the Year Roy Allen.

During his time with Florida SouthWestern, Daubenberger's FSW Way Poster featuring the Bucs' Division I signees for the Men's Basketball program finished 2nd place in 2023 in the 2YSIDA Publications and Design Competition.

After moving onto the Division I level as a student, he worked with the Florida Gulf Coast University Athletics Department, spearheading their statistical operations for their ASUN Championship winning Volleyball and Women's Basketball programs as well as Men's Basketball, Baseball, and Softball.

Most recently, he served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications at Seward County Community College in Kansas where he handled media relations duties, graphic and video creation, stats, game operations, and a number of other duties for the Saints. He arrived in time to promote the Saints first year Men's & Women's Soccer programs where he was able to help a number of student-athletes to Conference and National Player of the Week awards.
