BOONEVILLE, Miss. –  Northeast's men and women's basketball teams will travel to Senatobia tonight to face Northwest Mississippi Community College in another MACJC North Division showdown.

Tigers' Head Coach David Robbins in coming off a big win at home against Itawamba Community College and will look to carry that momentum into tonight's match-up with the Rangers.  Northeast got the best of Northwest back on December 3 defeating the Rangers 95-92.  However, the Rangers are leading the way in the division and are currently 12-4 overall and 5-2 in the north.  Northeast sits in fifth place in the divisional standings with an overall record of 8-8, 3-4 respectively.

Top performers for Northeast include Acie Vance and Tyler Brunson for the Tigers. Vance averages 14.8 points per game and Brunson 12.7.  The Rangers are led by DeMarcus McVay and Domonique Harris who combine for just over 30 points per contest. 

On the ladies side, Coach Alexander's team also defeated the Lady Rangers back on December 3, 88-82 in overtime.  The Lady Rangers are 14-4 overall and 5-2 in the division while the Lady Tigers are 9-7 and 5-2 in the division.  Itawamba leads the ladies north division followed by Northeast and Northwest.

Coach Alexander's freshman duo Angelia Allen and LaTonya Gadison lead the way in scoring for the Lady Tigers.  Allen averages 12 points per game while Gadison averages 10.3 PPG.  Northwest is led by Shaquilla Isom who averages 12.3 points per outing and Tiesha Tunstall who adds 9.9 PPG.
