BOONEVILLE, Miss. –Northeast's men and women's hoops teams travel to Morehead tonight for another north division match-up against Mississippi Delta Community College.

Coach Brian Alexander's ladies are poised to move to 5-1 in the division with a win tonight against the Lady Trojans.  The Lady Tigers are 8-6 overall and are coming into tonight's game with a three game division win streak.  However, the Lady Tigers are 2-5 on the road as opposed to 6-1 inside the friendly confines of Bonner Arnold Coliseum.  Alexander's last loss was back on January 7 verses Meridian Community College 69-55 on the road.

Mississippi Delta's Lady Trojans currently sit at 7-7 overall and 2-3 in the north. 

Northeast will be led by top performer Angelia Allen (Belmont) who averages over 12 points per game and is coming off a career high 26 points against Holmes.  LaTonya Gadison also averages in double digits with 10.5 points per game to go along with five rebounds per game.

On the men's side, Coach David Robbins and crew will continue to fight their way back into the mix in the north division against the Trojans tonight.  Robbins' unit is 2-2 overall since coming back for the new calendar year and are 7-7 overall and 2-3 in the north -- coming off a win verses Holmes 78-68. 

Acie Vance, who tallied 29 in the Tigers' victory over Holmes, is leading the way for Northeast averaging 13.6 points per game followed by Tyler Brunson's 13 PPG.  Tadarious Coburn has averaged just over 10 points per game along with seven boards for Northeast.

Delta's Trojans are 5-9 overall and 2-3 in the division and are 2-3 at home and 1-6 on the road.

Tip time is set for 6 p.m. for the women and the men will follow.
