NORTHEAST TO HOST MERIDIAN TONIGHT IN BOONEVILLE

Booneville, Miss.,--Northeast Mississippi Community College will look to get back to its winning ways tonight at Bonner Arnold Coliseum verses Meridian Community College.

Women head Coach Brian Alexander's unit will open tonight's action starting at 5:30 p.m. and will look to improve from their 2-3 overall record against the Lady Eagles who sit at 3-2 overall.

Northeast dropped its game during the Thanksgiving break against Gadsden State Community College 81-78 on Monday, November 19.

The Lady Tigers are led by two freshmen, Kay K. Tate and Angelia Allen, who both average over 15 points per game for Northeast.

On the men's side, head coach David Robbins will also look to pull his team even on the year with a victory.

The Tigers are currently 2-3 overall and are also coming off a loss to Gadsden State Community College (6-0) back on November 19 98-78.

Robbins will lean on his sophomore standout Acie Vance, who averages 15 points per game along with newcomer Tyler Brunson, who averages 12 points per game.

Meridian travels to Booneville winless on the year coming in with an overall record of 0-5.
