BOONEVILLE, Miss. - The Northeast Mississippi Community College football team is set to begin a crucial two-game homestand with its homecoming contest.
Northeast welcomes Coahoma Community College in the annual gridiron battle of the Tigers on Thursday, October 15. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Tiger Stadium.
Those that cannot attend the contest can watch it live and in high definition on NEMCCTV. Tune in beginning at 5:45 p.m. for the pregame show by visiting www.nemcctv.com on any computer, smartphone or tablet.
Amazon and Roku television subscribers can also view each of Northeast's gridiron matchups by searching for "Northeast Mississippi Community College" on each respective app. The NEMCCTV feed will air on WRMG-TV in Red Bay, Ala., and Tishomingo County as well.
The Northeast Broadcasting Network also includes radio affiliate WOWL Fun 91. An audio simulcast featuring Jody Presley and Carter Smith, the Voices of the Tigers, can be heard on frequencies 91.9 FM from Burnsville, 92.9 FM from Florence, Ala., and 102.3 FM from Killen, Ala.

General admission tickets for this contest are sold out. No entrance to Tiger Stadium is allowed without your name being on a pass list as a family member of a participant on the band, cheerleading or football rosters, proof of a ticket purchase, a Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) state pass or a Northeast faculty or staff identification card.
It is the sixth consecutive midweek homecoming for the Tigers. The festivities begin at noon with the traditional home game day pep rally in the quad area between McCoy Hall, Ramsey Hall and the Haney Union.
Homecoming queen Alli Seago of Corinth and the remainder of her court, which includes Northeast student-athletes Brantley Carter, Kamryn Cole, L'Zareya Howard, Ally Melton and Marlee Turner from the cheerleading program, take center stage at approximately 5:45 p.m. during pregame activities.
The Tigers tangle with Coahoma in its homecoming affair for the 11th time in school history. That brings the visiting Tigers into a tie with Mississippi Delta Community College as Northeast's most common homecoming opponent.
The homestanding Tigers have defeated Coahoma in nine of the previous 10 meetings on this special occasion. The last such instance was a 35-6 victory by Northeast on September 29, 2016.
This matchup pits two of the final five unbeaten teams in the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) against each other. Coahoma bested Itawamba Community College in its season opener and had an open date one week ago.
Northeast improved to 2-0 overall following a triumph at Mississippi Delta in a game that was moved up to last Friday afternoon due to incoming inclement weather from Hurricane Delta.
"They are better coached and I think that they are better up front on both sides of the ball," said Tigers head coach Greg Davis. "They're had two weeks to prepare for us. But at the end of the day, they've still got to stop us."
Northeast is averaging 453 yards per game. Quarterbacks Kevin Hurley of Walnut and JT Moore from Shelby guide that effort with a combined 284 yards per outing through the air with seven total touchdowns.
Cam Coleman of St. Louis, Mo., has emerged as the top target of the Tigers' signal callers with 13 receptions. However, Bay St. Louis native Dallas Payne and Andison Coby from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., are not far behind with nine and seven catches, respectively.
Linebackers Carter Bonds of Corinth, Jamarcus Smith from Saltillo and Iuka's Tayvius Duckett have combined to make 53 tackles. Willie Latham, III of Madison and Smith have a team-best four tackles for loss.
